Brasstower is an independent security advisory practice led by Chris Schneider.
With over 25 years of experience, Chris brings broad knowledge spanning engineering and product leadership, threat identification, and remediation of emerging security gaps across multiple domains including mobile, cloud and frontier research.
Chris holds an M.Sc. in Cryptography from Johns Hopkins and a Ph.D. in Machine Learning from St Andrews, with a focused practice at the intersection of both: securing AI and ML systems at the architectural level. The work bridges research and applied security, including dynamic control systems for AI agents, reusable machine learning personalization architectures, and custom security controls for specialized hardware devices.
Having held security leadership positions at Microsoft, Google DeepMind, Google Android, and NVIDIA, Chris has led research and engineering teams at scale, and brings that experience to the advisory work Brasstower delivers. Engagements scale through a vetted network of best-in-class security professionals.
